Router bit, corner round

Corner rounding bits are used to soften or "break" the edges of a piece of wood.  Somtimes this is for ease of handling and sometimes to visually soften the edge.  Usually the radius of the bit is equal  to 1/2 the thickness of the wood, but this varies by your design requirements.
