Roughing end mills have a chip breaker cutting edge for heavy cuts, high cutting speeds, and increased productivity. These coarse pitch end mills are recommended for soft to medium hardness materials including titanium and aluminum alloys. The M42 cobalt gives heat and wear resistance for longer life in abrasive materials. It also allows for higher feed speeds in production applications.
